Quick Answer

At the August 26, 2026 check, there was no newer official patch note visible than Endacopia 1.08, posted August 7. The public discussion list is a freshness signal only; update first, then use the direct answer table for stable routes and clearly labeled community leads.

AI Route Save Warning

Community reports describe an AI skip route that can look like a crash or progress reset when the Office secret is involved. Treat that report as route-specific, not as proof that the save is safe: close the game before copying saves, keep a pre-Office-secret backup, and preserve the post-incident folder if progress appears to roll back.

  1. Do not overwrite the only save. Copy the save folder before testing the outlet, phone, or Office symbol route.
  2. Record the state. Note the game build, whether the AI was absent, whether the game closed intentionally, and what the next launch loaded.
  3. Separate route and bug. Compare the same save against the Ending C and achievement pages before calling it a universal crash.

Evidence state: Community save-reset report cross-checked with the AI boss route discussion; current-build replay pending.

Fresh discussion signalStable answer or actionStatus
Metal Detector not beepingUpdate to 1.08 first; the official note says the buried-item beep was fixed. If it still fails, preserve the room and save details for a bug report.Official fix; current report still needs reproduction
Clown death puzzleUse the current answer: hit Yellow, Pink, Purple, and Red; leave Green, Orange, Light Blue, and Blue alone. See the clown guide.Community result
Ending C / ClockyAudit the three secret areas and the late Overclockey rematch. The opening Clocky skip requirement remains disputed.Stable route framing; branch caveat
Henry boss / fight input / Windows InkThese are active reports, not confirmed universal bugs. Record build, input device, room, and save state before publishing a workaround.Needs verification
VHS, Lost Key, and ProjectorLost Key and VHS are separate routes. Use the direct answer table for Paisley Yellow, TV House, Black Rose, projector, and waterfall code checks.Community-converged; replay pending

Reported Fix Areas To Re-check

The table below is a verification queue rather than a promise that every bug is fixed. It turns the competitor's useful patch-note structure into an evidence ledger for this site.

AreaCommunity-reported changeWhat a player should do
Dice / Gambling DenRepeated crash fixes are reported across 1.01-1.06.Update first; keep a backup before a long dice session; report whether the crash reproduces.
Boone inspectionLeaving the room while inspecting Boone is reported as blocked in 1.06.Re-test the softlock only after updating; do not label it fixed solely from a secondary page.
Camera, TV, ventSeveral camera and inventory-related softlocks are listed as fixed.Use the current build and note the exact room, input, and save state if it still occurs.
Water Break trackingAchievement progress correction is reported for 1.03.Use the Water Break guide and record the three hydration events separately.
Steam Cloud / volumeCloud saving and + / - volume behavior are mentioned in the public log.Still keep a local backup; Cloud sync is not a replacement for route-specific saves.

Player Checklist Before A Long Route

  1. Let Steam finish updating. Check the download queue before beginning a new Ending C or 100% run.
  2. Keep three backups. Save before the Saw Box, keep a near-complete Chapter I file, and preserve a branch save before boss choices.
  3. Record the build and symptom. A useful bug report includes the version, room, action, save state, and whether a reload fixes it.
  4. Re-test old community fixes. If a guide says a softlock is fixed, verify it on the current build before changing our page from "reported" to "confirmed."

Why This Page Separates Evidence

Patch pages are useful for players who are stuck, but secondary patch summaries can silently turn into false certainty. This site keeps official Steam links, community reports, and our own replay results in separate labels so a route guide can be corrected without rewriting the whole site.
