Quick Answer

To beat the Endacopia Chameleon boss, save before the Chameleon conversation, run the combat branch for No Strings Attached, then reload for Case Closed: ask “Who are you?”, enter the name shown on the tombstone, and choose Irony. If you searched Endacopia Chamelion, this is the same boss and route.

Branch Before The Conversation

The Chameleon route is a classic achievement split. If you overwrite the save after one outcome, you may need to replay too much of Timesville. Save before the identity conversation, then keep that save until both achievements are confirmed.

No Strings AttachedTrigger and win the Chameleon battle.Steam achievement after defeating the puppet attackers.
Case ClosedResolve the identity path without combat.Steam achievement after avoiding the battle.

Battle Notes

  1. Watch the arms. The puppets telegraph attacks with movement from either side.
  2. Block shortly before impact. Holding block constantly can leave you without enough stamina to punish safely.
  3. Counter once or twice. Do not spend the whole stamina bar after one block.
  4. Re-center after each exchange. The second puppet can punish you while you are focused on the first target.
